8.5-Inch Monitor With Built-In DVD Player
The VOD86 boasts an 8.5-inch TFT (Thin Film Transistor) Active Matrix LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) monitor, ensuring a great picture no matter your video source. Easily select standard (4:3) or widescreen (16:9) aspect ratio and control picture quality and other functions via the multi-lingual on-screen display. NTSC and PAL video sources are automatically detected, so plug most devices into one of the two source inputs and you’ll be set for a fun ride.
You can also play back your favorite CDs, or even MP3 data CDs chock full of your favorite tunes.

The built-in DVD Player will turn on automatically with disc insertion, making it easy to get the entertainment underway. Even after making a stop, the movie will pick up right where you left off thanks to the DVD player’s last-position memory. If a quick interruption is necessary, just use the A/V mute button.
A/V Inputs
Two audio/video source inputs are included for attaching external devices like video game systems, video cameras, and more.
An A/V output is also included for system expansion, if you’d like to add an additional monitor.
Wireless Headphones
The VOD86 includes a built-in infrared transmitter for use with the two supplied wireless headphones. The headphone volume is adjusted independently, using the controls on each headset.
Any number of wireless headphones may be used but they must be used within a line of sight from the transmitter, as infrared transmissions, like visible light travel only in a straight line.
Wireless Remote
A full-function wireless remote is also included for easy control of your device without reaching for the roof.
Dome Lights
The VOD86 features dome lights with a built-in three-way switch for interior lighting.
